We recently stayed for 3 nights and loved hanging out in the cozy courtyard with our family. It was great to chat with Don and his staff while enjoying the morning sun, and the relaxing vibe made our experience special. The only minor hiccup was the weak cell reception inside, but it was just a short walk to get a better signal. 😊

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the New Orleans Guest House. The cozy atmosphere combined with spacious common areas clearly made it accessible and welcoming for seniors like myself, making my stay incredibly enjoyable.
A wider breakfast selection would be appreciated.

Just an optimal selection for a flash visit in New Orleans with good value for cost. Breakfast was nice daily and helped start the day well. Look for free parking on the street instead of paying for it.

Super comfy spot!
We got there early and the staff was super chill, let us check in early. The room was clean and the bed? ? OMG! Best sleep ever! Loved the courtyard with picnic tables for relaxing. It’s close enough to Bourbon Street but still quiet enough to catch some z’s. Just a heads up, parking’s an extra $25 a day.

Great location makes exploring a breeze, just steps from the lively French Quarter. The charming courtyard offers a cute setting for breakfast, complete with friendly cats roaming about, adding a whimsical touch to the stay.
The room had persistent musty odors, and sticky carpet made for an unwelcoming atmosphere. Noise levels were disruptive due to thin walls. you can hear everything from slamming doors to loud engines outside. The fan and hairdryer didn’t work, which was a letdown, and the difficulty in darkening the window only added to the challenge of getting good sleep. Also, a noted lack of cleaning in common areas left a questionable impression.

We enjoyed the fantastic breakfast selection every morning, especially the pastries and fresh fruit. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the French Quarter, making it easy to explore all the lively sights with our big family.
My wife says that a family room with more space would be ideal.

Great Value and Convenient Location!
Had a wonderful stay! The ambiance felt relaxed, and I loved the courtyard view. Don, the manager, provided exceptional service. Just a short walk to local attractions. Consider asking for a room away from the dining area if you're looking for quiet. Can’t wait to return!
